I also intern as a media assistant. Work involves editing footage, research, and getting coffees.
I have worked at Dominos Pizza and McDonalds as a CSR. I was required to clean, make food, answer calls and serve customers.
I am a former US Marine, currently studying film production at Massey University in Wellington. Since the end of my enlistment I have taken jobs as a subcontracted commercial diver, and a ride operator at a theme park in the US. In that time I have also done some work as a freelance videographer/editor, and taken on roles that include: Directing, Producing, Sound Recording, Camera Op, Editing, and other on set work (runner/grip/PA)

I’m an experienced social worker. Skilled in public speaking at all sorts of events and venues, to groups of all sizes and interests. I’ve written and facilitated training courses, workshops and seminars. I enjoy event management and being the hostess with the mostess. I have retail experience and excellent customer service skills.

I began working for a Kohanga Reo immersed in Te Reo Maori. After moving to Auckland in early 2016 i began work for a number of positions from Children’s parties, dressing up as spiderman and batman on occasions while doing weekly refugee support work at Mixit Charity out at Corban’s Estate, creating bonds in our 2 our creative classes which involved something different each term, ranging from spoken work practice to dance classes all with proper industry tutors coming in to share their time.
For the past fews years I have been a casual employee with Event Services at the University of Auckland. In this role, I have been exposed to many different work environments including hospitality, logistics, and ceremonial events. From this position I have gained highly valuable skills which can be applied to many areas. I have also had experience working with Theatre Production, Young people as well as animals, these are been both paid and volunteer.
I’ve been a waitress for the last three years switching between part time and full time. I initially was a waitress at woodlands cafe in Gordonton for 2 years, 1 year being part time and the 2nd year being full time. Then I switched to being a part time restaurant waitress at Et-tu Bistro while I’ve been studying acting full time here in Auckland.
I worked for three years in hospitality, mainly doing waitressing. The customer service and communication skills I learnt from hospitality added to my already great ability to communicate, in both written and spoken forms. I have written promotional material for websites, have taught English (both as a second language and at high school level) and am currently expanding to do proof-reading and book-editing work. I am great at writing, both creatively and formally, and would love to put those skills to use. I am also proficient in the Japanese language; I recently spent a year studying in Tokyo and currently have N2 level Japanese. I have worked as an actor and model.
