  • Throughout my High School years, I performed in a great deal of school productions, normally playing a large role. I played Ian Salt in ”Teechers” in year 11, Oberon in ”A Midsummer Night’s Dream” in year 12, and then directed ”Footrot Flats” in year 13, along with playing Major, the Pig Dog, and Cecil, the old ram. In year 13, I also directed a scene from ”Troilus and Cressida” for the Sheila Winn Shakespeare Festival.
  • In my year 12, I performed in local theatre, playing five different small roles for ”Buddy Holly”, and playing another main role in a local play.
  • I have also acted in the ”Summer Shakespeares” that my old drama teacher puts on every year, playing Jacques in ”As You Like It”, as well as having to step in a play Silvius when he was unable to make a certain performance.
  • I played Sir Andrew Aguecheek in ”Twelfth Night”.
  • I acheived my year 13 drama year with all excellences, which I am proud of.
  • Over the past two years I have been in two children’s pantomimes (Alice in Wonderland and Snow White), helping with both backstage and onstage.
  • I have also been working with the students at Aoraki Polytech who have required actors for their film projects. I acted in three films last year for them, and currently am in one of their TV segments called ”Ebonics”.
